Traveling to CFC

CFC’s planned location is going to be the National Harbor in Oxen Hill Maryland, immediately south of Washington D.C. along the Washington Beltway. If you’re worried about getting there, don’t be! There’s plenty of travel methods for national and international attendees who wanted to attend and visit the D.C. metro area which we’ll cover in this page.

 

The Local Airports

Regan National Airport

The closest airport to CFC, Regan National Airport is a relatively small, but extremely close airport for con attendees looking to minimize travel time. Travel time from this airport to the National Harbor tends to be a maximum of 10 minutes, making it an ideal airport if you’re able to find good offers on flights.

Dulles International Airport

The second closest airport option, Dulles International Airport is the ideal option for international attendees as it is one of the United State’s largest international airports. It services many airlines which would provide attendees with ample flights to choose from. At roughly 33 miles from the National Harbor, you’re looking at a typically 35 minute commute outside of rush hour traffic. Additionally, the Subway can provide transport to Alexandria, Virginia if you’re looking to cut down on costs and take a cheaper ride share route.

Baltimore Washington International Airport

The third option on our airport list, BWI is the furthest airport from the National Harbor at 37 miles with an average drive time of 45 minutes outside of rush hour traffic. This airport might be considered if you’re looking for cheap flight options as it is a hub for Southwest Airlines.
