Registering for Capital Fur Con
Thank you for showing interest in Capital Fur Con!
Registrations for Capital Fur Con are handled through ConCat, which is accessible via the registration link in our header. To register, you will need to make an account on ConCat. With your account, you will be able to purchase your registration, view your profile and register for future years. Attendees can pre-register for our convention year-round once registration opens, including at the convention itself. Additionally, room booking for the hotel block will be available via ConCat once they open depending on your registration tier.
Please note additional points:
(A) Capital Fur Con requires attendees be 21+ years old to attend the convention.
(B) Capital Fur Con will be performing I.D. verification upon registration both for liability reasons and to be in compliance with Maryland regulations.
(C) Attempting to attend Capital Fur Con via the use of forged documentation for age verification is fraud and will be reported to local authorities.
Personal Identification Requirements
In order to be in compliance with Maryland regulations and liability, every attendee must present a valid photo ID to verify their age before receiving their badge or registering on site. Capital Fur Con will only accept a valid primary ID. A primary ID will contain:
(A) Your photo;
(B) Your full legal name;
(C) Your birth date;
(D) And must be issued by a recognized legal governing entity such as a state or national government.
Forms of primary IDs include a driver’s license, state identification card, military identification, passport or national identification card.
CFC will accept secondary identifications if two or more are presented and they cover the primary ID requirements. Secondary ID are forms of ID that do not contain all the above information or are not issues by a state or national government. Examples of these documents include school IDs, work IDs, union membership cards, birth certificates, social security cards, health insurance cards, check stubs, W2 forms, court documentation or any other legal forms that do not include all the information present on a primary ID.
